Pump Court Chambers is delighted to announce that Shona Love, Alex McHugh and Annabel Hazlitt have all accepted offers of tenancy and will join chambers in October, following the successful completion of their respective pupillages.
Shona Love accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ practice. Before coming to the Bar, Shona spent several years as a lawyer at the BBC specialising in media and information law with expertise in privacy, data protection and freedom of information. Simultaneously, she sat as a Magistrate at HM Courts & Tribunals Service adjudicating public and private family law cases.
Prior to joining Pump Court, Alex McHugh worked as a paralegal at a Legal 500 leading firm in London. During which time he practiced private family law for three years, as well as crime and civil litigation for two years each. He also regularly acted as a solicitor’s agent for the same firm, advocating at emergency injunction application hearings and interlocutory hearings, as appropriate.
Annabel Hazlitt accepts instructions in Crime; in the Magistrates’, Youth, and Crown Court. Prior to commencing pupillage, Annabel worked as a Clerk in the Royal Courts of Justice. Before coming to the Bar, Annabel worked at an investment bank for three years.
