Prior to joining chambers, Alex worked as a paralegal at a Legal 500 leading firm in London. During which time he practiced private family law for three years, as well as crime and civil litigation for two years each. He also regularly acted as a solicitor’s agent for the same firm, advocating at emergency injunction application hearings and interlocutory hearings, as appropriate.

Having worked in law since 2016, Alex has gained a wealth of practical experience. He prides himself on his client-handling skills and his knowledge of what solicitors require from Counsel. Alex accepts both legally aided and privately funded briefs and has dealt with clients from all manner of background.

Alex completed his first six under the supervision of Tim Salisbury (civil), Jennifer Lee (family), and Richard Tutt (crime). Each are specialists in their respective fields and Alex has extensive experience of proceedings across county, family, magistrates’, and Crown courts.

Alex lives in both London and the West Country, meaning he is readily available to accept instructions on both circuits.
