Our team of Criminal Advocates enjoy an outstanding reputation as one of the most modern and forward-thinking, prosecuting and defending at all levels from the Magistrates' Court to the Supreme Court.
With a strong regional presence across London and the South and West, we represent clients throughout England and Wales and internationally.
Our Criminal team comprises 28 barristers, including four KC’s and a significant number of Grade 4 prosecutors and members of the Attorney General’s panel of prosecution advocates. Our strength in Criminal Law is evidenced by the 15 barristers from our Criminal team who have become Circuit Judges and by the 15 who have been appointed KC’s in the last 20 years.
Our experienced and approachable clerking team can offer competitive fees, including an innovative fixed-fee scheme. We developed the scheme primarily for Criminal Defendants in the Crown Court who have been asked to pay heavy monthly contributions to the Legal Services Commission, but we are always keen to discuss fees to ensure that clients are able to access appropriate representation at a cost that is proportionate not only to the legal and factual complexities of the case but also to the means of the client.
