Pump Court Chambers’ busy criminal team is looking for an able and enthusiastic third-six pupil, to work primarily on the Western Circuit, typically in Winchester, Southampton and Bournemouth for six months, with a view to tenancy.

We prosecute and defend across all areas of criminal work, including the most serious and complex cases. We are a friendly, approachable team. Third-six pupils will be allocated a pupil supervisor and will be invited to participate in our in-house advocacy training. Travel grants are available. Our recent second and third-six pupils have quickly found themselves appearing in trials in the Crown Court. Chambers has an excellent record of offering tenancy to its third-six pupils in crime.

We are accepting applications for third-six pupillages to start immediately, although this is flexible.
