Civil Mediation

Mediation can be a very effective way of resolving disputes without the strain or expense of going to court. It involves using an independent third party – a mediator – who helps both sides to come to an agreement.

Within Pump Court we have a panel of civil mediators, all of whom have substantial experience and are ADR accredited. They are especially good at dealing tactfully with those involved in difficult and seemingly intractable disputes. They use their skills, knowledge and experience to help the parties:

• Identify the specific issues that need to be addressed
• Understand and assess each other’s cases
• Explore ways forward
• Formulate potential solutions
