Tara Lyons returns from maternity leave

We are delighted to welcome back Tara Lyons following her recent maternity leave.

Tara was called to the Bar in 2005 and specialises in matrimonial finance, trusts of land disputes and cases concerning the financial provision for children under Schedule 1 of the Children Act 1989. An experienced mediator, she also accepts instructions to act as a judge in Private FDRs; whether remotely or in person. 

She is also highly regarded for her expertise in claims concerning the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975, contentious probate matters, disputes about the validity of wills and administration issues.

Tara also regularly appears before the Court of Protection in cases concerning its property and affairs jurisdiction and the Mental Capacity Act 2005.

Ranked as a leading individual in both Chambers & Partners and The Legal 500, she is also the co-host and co-founder of ‘The Family Law Podcast‘, a podcast that discusses the latest themes and developments in family law. Tara will be returning with immediate effect.
