Gary Self successful in Court of Appeal

Pump Court Chambers is delighted to announce that Gary Self has been appointed a Salaried Employment Judge of the Employment Tribunals (England and Wales). He will be taking up his full-time appointment on Monday 5th July 2021 and has been assigned to the London South and South West Regions.

Gary was already one of the leading Employment juniors on the Western Circuit prior to joining chambers. He was called to the bar in 1991 and soon gained a reputation for his skilled cross examination, encyclopedic knowledge of the law and client care gaining a strong and loyal following from both the private and public sector. He was regularly recognised as a leading Junior in the leading legal directories. In 2000 he was appointed a Part-time Employment Judge originally sitting in South London and then the West Midlands at Birmingham Employment Tribunal.
