Tony Atkins, Senior Clerk said: “The whole world is going through an incredibly difficult time. Tragically an outcome of this has been a dramatic increase in domestic violence. We’re aware that anyone can be a victim of domestic abuse, regardless of gender, age, ethnicity, socio-economic status, sexuality or background. Our members are dedicated to playing their part in challenging all forms of domestic violence and achieving justice for those suffering abuse.”
“Through our partnership with Aurora New Dawn and Franca Webb of Biscoes Solicitors, a long-time friend of Chambers who is well known as a campaigner and specialist in domestic abuse, our specialist family and criminal barristers will be providing regular training and support for the Aurora Advocates as well as offering reduced advocacy rates and a free consultation for all victims of domestic abuse.”
