James Wackett

Senior Civil and Regulatory Clerk

James Wackett joined chambers in December 2023 and is the Senior Civil Clerk. He leads the Civil Clerking team and is ultimately responsible for the strategic planning, development and growth of all civil practices across chambers.

James has gained over 20 years’ experience in the legal industry, working at numerous award winning sets of chambers throughout the UK and internationally. His passion and enthusiasm for the job is evident in the high level of client care and friendly service he provides at all times internally and externally.

James understands the importance of business development and is very pro-active in the marketplace. Using his skills and knowledge he is continuously trying to identify new ways of collaborating in an effort to cultivate or develop working relationships.

James is a member of the IBC and achieved the BTEC Advanced Certificate in Chambers Administration.

Outside of work, James enjoys boxing, gym, running, cinema, and spending time with his family and friends.
