James Collier

James Collier is in command of our family team. He is responsible for the development and management of all aspects of our family barristers’ practice including diary management, fee negotiation, work allocation and client relationship management. James joined Chambers in March 2020, having started his clerking career at 1 Hare Court in 2009. James is a valuable member of the team who brings a high level of professionalism and valuable clerking experience to us, from his previous set.

In addition, James is also our designated Family ADR clerk and as such, deals with the management of our ADR practice encompassing Private FDR’s, Arbitration and Mediation. This is a role James has conducted previously, attaining many years of experience in this specific area as it has grown in the industry. James is very willing to discuss and advise clients on our ADR options and their benefits.

Away from Chambers, James enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as occasionally finding time to enjoy some football and golf.
