Our Family Finance team is experienced and expert in offering advice and representation in all manner of disputes concerning Trusts of Land, including express, resulting or constructive trusts, and issues such as proprietary estoppel, misrepresentation and undue influence.
We advise on both contentious and non-contentious matters relating to residential and commercial property arrangements. We are also able to offer expert mediators or arbitrators in all of these areas.
Our clients range from private individuals in domestic disputes arising out of relationship breakdown to trustees, directors and executors in high-value commercial disputes. We have particular experience in advising on disputes involving one or more parties who may lack capacity and are able to combine technical expertise on these matters with appropriate sensitivity to the individuals involved.
Many of the barristers within our Family Finance team are experienced in the related fields of Civil and Family law and, where required, they can also draw on the wider expertise within Chambers on these specialisms.
