Headed by Edward Boydell KC, the team is home to eight recognised Chambers & Partners “Leaders at the Bar” and features two KC’s and over 40 Junior Counsel. Many of our senior members also sit part-time as judges in the Family Division of the High Court, the County and Crown Courts and in the Central Family Court. Members of the team appear in courts at all levels, from the Magistrates’ Court and the County Court to the High Court and the Court of Appeal.

Our Family Finance team advises on a wide range of issues for families from every wealth bracket, from complex high-net-worth “Big Money” cases to those with more modest assets and incomes. With members of the team sitting as part-time judges hearing financial remedy cases or appeals, and many of our team qualified as mediators and arbitrators, we are also well placed to conduct private financial dispute resolutions (FDRs), arbitrations or mediations.

We also provide in-house seminars and continuing professional education through our training programme and in conjunction with other providers including local Resolution groups, CLT, Bloomsbury and Datalaw.
