Barristers in our Courts Martial team have a deep understanding of the requirements and structure of the armed forces, the nature of tri-service life and the unique procedures of Courts Martial.
We all have a thorough working knowledge of the Armed Forces Act 2006: members of our group attended at the MOD main building in Whitehall during its draft stage and several have lectured on application of the Act subsequently.
As well as providing experienced, expert advocacy in this highly specialised field in Bulford, Colchester, Catterick and Portsmouth, members of our group regularly appear in Germany, Northern Ireland and Cyprus. We have represented men or women at all ranks from Private soldiers to Colonels in the Army, and their equivalent ranks in the Royal Navy and the Royal Air Force.
