We have over 100 members of Chambers at present, including 7 KCs. Around half of our members are based in London and the others are split between our Winchester and Swindon offices. Historically a London and a Western Circuit set, we now describe our geographic focus as London, the South and the West. About 60% of our work is on Circuit, including most of the Criminal, and a significant proportion of this is in Hampshire though we also travel to Dorset, Wiltshire and further afield. Our London practitioners travel out on Circuit when their practice requires.
We are currently seeking third six pupillage applications for our Civil, Criminal and Family teams.

Pump Court Chambers’ busy Civil Team is looking for an able, enthusiastic and highly motivated third-six pupil to work in London and/or the Western and South Eastern Circuits, with a view to tenancy. There are a number of thriving sub-teams within the Civil Team, enabling practitioners to develop in the specialisms of their choosing.

Pump Court Chambers Children Team is an extremely busy and vibrant team of Barristers practicing in all aspects of Children law. Due to the high volume of work In Chambers we are seeking an able and enthusiastic 3rd-six pupil to work on the London, Western and South-eastern Circuits, with a view to tenancy. The work will include children law both public and private, child abduction and court of protection work. There will also be opportunities to work within our highly successful Family Finance Team. The successful candidate may choose whether to be based in London, Winchester or Canterbury.
The successful applicant will benefit from proactive support and will be allocated a mentor within Chambers. They will be working alongside a supportive and collegiate team of junior barristers.
