Rebekah has been ranked in the 2026 Legal 500 as a ‘Rising Star’ in Divorce & Financial Remedies and Family: Children & Domestic Abuse. She is described as a ‘fantastic advocate’ whose abilities are ‘far in excess of her year of call’. Rebekah is also ranked in the Doyle’s Guide as a ‘Rising Star’ of the London Family Law Bar as well as in Divorce & Financial Remedies in the 2025 Legal 500.

Prior to pupillage, Rebekah spent two years as a paralegal at a specialist family law firm where she worked on cases in all areas of private family proceedings. She gained experience in financial remedies cases across a variety of asset levels, including those with complex business issues, international elements and nuptial agreements. In addition, she assisted with TOLATA claims and surrogacy cases as well as private children cases ranging from CAOs to applications for leave to remove.

Rebekah was then a paralegal to a barrister specialising in personal injury and clinical negligence for 18 months. In this role, she was exposed to multi-track litigation with a particular focus on cases involving traumatic brain injuries. She assisted in preparing for CCMCs, joint settlement meetings and infant approval hearings and acquired experience drafting high value schedules, including for fatal accident claims.

Alongside studying for the BPTC and working as a paralegal, Rebekah volunteered at the National Centre for Domestic Violence assisting victims of domestic abuse to apply for non-molestation and occupation orders. She also provided pro bono advice and representation at the East London Family Court.

Expertise

Rebekah has a busy and growing family finance practice and has experience dealing with cases involving intervenors, companies, property portfolios and non-disclosure of assets.

She has particular experience in this area having been under the supervision of Jennifer Lee during pupillage and having worked as a family paralegal prior to pupillage.

Rebekah is also a regular contributor to the Financial Remedies Journal.

Cases

P v P

Junior counsel to Imogen Robins in a case with net assets of approximately £12m, including a company (which owned commercial property), a residential property portfolio and pensions.

G v B

Acting for W at a final hearing. Following Rebekah's cross-examination of H and multiple of his family members and friends who gave evidence in support of him, the Judge made findings that H had lied to the court in respect of (a) his earnings, (b) sums transferred to family and friends and (c) his ownership of a property outside the jurisdiction. The Judge also found that his family had colluded to assist him. As a result, all of the known UK assets were transferred to W and a costs order was made against H.

F v W

At FDR, Rebekah persuaded the court that H's personal misconduct was a relevant factor, such that there should be an unequal division of the FMH in her client's favour. The Judge endorsed W's without prejudice proposal, on which Rebekah had advised in conference, and Rebekah achieved a settlement resulting in her client receiving 86% of the global assets.

Rebekah is regularly instructed in private children matters and represents clients at all stages, from FHDRAs to final hearings and fact-finds. She has experience dealing with cases involving domestic abuse, the involvement of the local authority and allegations of parental alienation.

Rebekah is quickly establishing herself in property law, offering advice and representation across both residential and commercial matters. She has recently acted for Defendants seeking relief from the forfeiture of commercial leases and regularly assists landlords in possession proceedings.

As she builds her practice, Rebekah is gaining valuable experience in a broad range of property disputes and is dedicated to delivering clear, practical advice and strong advocacy. She is an approachable and reliable choice for solicitors looking for a committed barrister with a growing depth of expertise in property law.

Rebekah also speaks at chambers property seminars.

Rebekah is a junior barrister with a strong foundation in legal analysis and a growing focus on inheritance law. Rebekah is well-equipped to handle matters such as will validity, undue influence, and claims under the Inheritance (Provision for Family and Dependants) Act 1975. She also has experience in applications for removal/ substitution of personal representatives.

Her background in financial remedy work makes her especially suited to advising widows, widowers, and former cohabitees. Rebekah combines sharp analytical skills with a friendly, approachable style that clients find reassuring.

As an up-and-coming barrister, she is highly motivated to take on challenging cases, offering clients dedicated and cost-effective representation while continuing to grow her expertise in inheritance claims.

Rebekah has a growing practice in cohabitation and co-ownership cases. She accepts instructions in TLATA claims of all kinds, i.e. whether between cohabitees or otherwise, drawing on her experience in both family and property.

In addition, Rebekah has experience in Schedule 1 claims and accepts instructions at all stages.

Cases

F v F

Rebekah successfully acted for the Claimant in a multi-day trial where the Claimant sought a declaration that she was the sole beneficial owner of a property held in the sole name of the Defendant (the Claimant's son).

The case was complicated by the Claimant losing capacity during proceedings and the property purchase having taken place around 50 years ago, with relatively little documentary evidence available.

Following Rebekah's cross-examination of the Defendant, the Claimant's claim was successful in its entirety.
