Julie Mackenzie is a highly experienced and skilled family practitioner. As a mother of three and with 30 years of practice in matrimonial work she brings considerable expertise and resources to the demanding and challenging world of the Family Court. She appears in the High Court, County Court and Family Proceedings Court dealing with all issues within Care Proceedings
Julie is also an experienced mediator in family, equestrian and civil mediation.

Julie is an accomplished horsewoman with a detailed and intuitive understanding of rural issues. She is the acclaimed author of Horse Law and has forged long standing relationships with vets and other equine experts giving her a particular grasp and understanding of horse related problems.
Julie is particularly committed to the manifest benefits of mediation both as a mechanism for equitable solution and cost control in cases that might otherwise descend into protracted and costly litigation. Julie has conducted highly successful mediations in both equine and family disputes.
