Joseph is a pupil specialising in all aspects of children law, with a particular emphasis on public and private law cases.
Within public law, Joseph has extensive experience representing local authorities, parents, and children. He is regularly instructed in cases involving significant allegations of neglect, physical abuse, and sexual abuse.
Joseph is regularly instructed in cases that involve challenging and balanced welfare decisions for children, including disputes concerning sibling separation, placement order applications, and deprivation of liberty orders.
Joseph’s practice includes all aspects of private children proceedings, including disputes involving domestic abuse, implacable hostility to contact, and substance misuse issues. He has a particular experience in representing vulnerable clients who require specialised client care.
