Amy Connell specialises in Family Law with particular emphasis on Public and Private Law children proceedings.

Before joining Pump Court Chambers, she was a tenant at Stour Chambers after relocating to Kent, having previously been in practice at the Bar in London and Essex since 2006.

Amy is ranked as a Leading Junior for Family: Children and Domestic Abuse in the current edition of Legal 500. Previous editions note the following:

In Public Law proceedings she acts for parents, guardians and interveners, including grandparents. She is adept and sensitive to the issues when dealing with clients with challenging cognitive, psychiatric or psychological difficulties.

Her practice includes all aspects of private law proceedings, including cases involving implacable hostility as to contact, residence disputes and parental responsibility.

Amy is also a trained mediator.
