Alvaro Loxton is a pupil barrister at Chambers, engaged in a range of work across Chambers’ principal practice areas.

Prior to pupillage, Alvaro represented lay and professional clients in the County Court as an Advocate across a broad spectrum of civil matters ranging from landlord and tenant repossessions to small claims track trials. He also served as a Crown Court Clerk for two years, working closely with the judiciary on the Western Circuit and clerked on several high-profile and contentious cases, including the trial of the Colston Four.

Beyond his in-court experience, Alvaro stays abreast of legal developments and contributes to both the Chambers’ blog and the Family Law Week’s journal, notably writing on family and employment law decisions from the Court of Appeal and the High Court.
