Prior to coming to the Bar, Albert read Politics with Quantitative Research Methods at the University of Bristol before converting to law. Albert received major scholarships for both the GDL and the BTC from Middle Temple, achieving a distinction in both. Albert undertook pro bono work alongside his studies, volunteering at the Employment and Consumer Law pop-up clinic in central London. Before starting pupillage, Albert also worked as a Parliamentary Research and Communications Intern in the House of Lords.
Throughout his first six months of pupillage, Albert was exposed to the breadth of chambers’ family and civil work under the supervision of experienced members of chambers.
He has since enjoyed developing his practice in proceedings for financial remedies acting in cases ranging from those with more modest assets to those with larger, more complex assets. Albert also accepts instructions concerning the Trust of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and proprietary estoppel. Albert is quickly gaining extensive experience in dealing with private law children matters including those with serious allegations of domestic abuse, sexual assault, child abduction and cases involving applications for leave to permanently remove (both internally and externally). Albert also accepts instructions in relation to the Family Law Act 1996, often in proceedings consolidated with Children Act proceedings.
Albert has a broad mixed civil practice undertaking work in relation to late payments of commercial debts and property disputes. He also accepts instructions in landlord and tenant disputes, personal injury, road traffic accident cases and in employment matters.
Albert is quickly building a reputation for thorough preparation, clear advice, and robust representation at all stages of proceedings.
