Leslie Samuels KC elected Chair of the FLBA

We are incredibly proud to share that Leslie Samuels KC has been elected to the post of Chair of the Family Law Bar Association. Leslie was elected at the FLBA National Conference and AGM in Birmingham on Saturday 1 November. His term of office will commence on 1 January 2026 and will last for 2 years.

Speaking on his election, Leslie commented: “I owe a massive debt of gratitude to our existing Chair James Roberts KC MCIArb who has been the most brilliant, committed and inspirational leader during his terms as Vice Chair and Chair and indeed throughout his 30 years on the National Committee. As I said at our AGM he is not just a hard act to follow, he is an impossible one.

Congratulations to Lucy Reed KC for her election as the new Vice Chair, Tahmina Rahman for her election as Secretary and Greg Williams for his re-election as Treasurer.

We will make a fantastic team. There is much to do but I am looking forward to it!”
