News 16th October 2025

We are incredibly pleased that Pump Court and its members have been recognised again in the latest edition of Chambers & Partners.

As a set, Pump Court has maintained its Band 1 ranking in Family/Matrimonial and Ecclesiastical Law and as a Leading Set for Crime and Employment on the Western Circuit. This year Pump Court is also ranked for the first time as a set for Matrimonial Finance in London.

Our members have 30 individual rankings across our core practice areas, including Crime, Data Protection, Ecclesiastical Law, Employment, Family: Children, Family: Matrimonial Finance, Family/Matrimonial: Non-Court Dispute Resolution, Health & Safety and Inquests & Public Inquiries.

The following is a selection of our feedback this year:

The barristers are sought out to appear in a wide range of cases involving such matters as cohabitation, post- and pre-nuptial agreements, variation applications, TOLATA and financial dispute resolution matters. An interviewee comments that the sets has “barristers of all abilities which allows us to identify those best suited to certain individuals or cases.” Members are regularly called upon to act for both the prosecution and defence in cases involving serious crimes such as murder, drugs-related matters and serious sexual offences. Additional areas of strength for the team include fraud and cases relating to serious violence.
