Undercover Policing Inquiry’s Tranche 3 hearings start on Monday 13th October

On Monday 13th October 2025, the Undercover Policing Inquiry (UCPI) will start its Tranche 3 hearings with opening statements taking place across three days, followed by 31 days of evidence hearings.
Tim Salisbury and Nazmeen Imambaccus are currently instructed as Deputy First Junior and Second Junior Counsel to the Inquiry respectively, while several other members of Pump Court’s Inquests and Inquiries team have previously acted as CTI during the course of UCPI, including Paul Mertens, Naima Asif and Stephanie Painter.
