
We are delighted that Alvaro Loxton, Edward Armitage, Hannah Tickle and Victoria Steet have all accepted offers of tenancy and will become full members of chambers on 1st October 2025, following the successful completion of their pupillages.
Alvaro Loxton (2021 call) accepts instructions across Chambers’ core areas of practice, with particular experience in family, civil and criminal work. He is regularly instructed in cases involving matrimonial finance, private children matters, employment disputes and residential property. He also appears in the Crown and Magistrates’ Courts as both prosecution (CPS Panel: Grade 1) and defence. Alvaro also has a growing advisory practice, assisting clients with case strategy and complex legal issues.
Edward Armitage (2022 call) is a specialist crime pupil. Edward studied law at City, University of London, achieving a first class honours, before obtaining a Master’s of Science from Exeter College, University of Oxford in African Studies (specialising in International Criminal Justice). He subsequently returned to the City Law School to complete an LLM in Bar Vocational Studies, funded by the Amelia Jackson Studentship and Postgraduate Scholarship awarded by Exeter College and City, University of London respectively.
Hannah Tickle (2023 call) is a Common Law Pupil. She accepts instructions in Family, Crime, and Civil. Hannah has a keen interest in people-focused law and happily accepts legal aid work in both the Criminal and Family jurisdictions. Hannah is a CPS Grade 1 prosecutor for general crime and is due to appear in her first Crown Court trial. Prior to pupillage, Hannah first worked in Academia, securing a full scholarship and graduate stipend to undertake her Master’s Degree whilst researching and teaching in the United States. Hannah was also awarded the Anglo-American Exchange Scholarship from Middle Temple, which allowed her to complete a legal internship in the United States.
Victoria Steet (2024 call) is a specialist family pupil and accepts instructions in all areas of family law. Before starting pupillage, Victoria worked as a paralegal at a leading family law solicitors firm based in Holborn. In this role Victoria was responsible for her own caseload under the supervision of the Director and Head of Advocacy. She worked predominantly on public law children matters and Family Law Act injunctions, alongside private law children cases.
