Jennifer Lee to speak at the Resolution National Conference on 16 May 2025

Pump Court is very proud that Jennifer Lee has been invited to speak at one of two parallel workshops taking place during this year’s Resolution National Conference in Birmingham on 16-17 May 2025.

Jennifer will lead the workshop titled “Capacity in the Context of Financial Remedy Proceedings” alongside Jennifer Williamson, Partner at Blake Morgan and Dr Christopher Danbury, Consultant and Honorary Lecturer at University Hospital Southampton. The workshop will draw on decisions made by the Family Court (and the Court of Protection) in respect of different types of “capacity” and the thresholds for each (e.g. litigation capacity, capacity to consent to a marriage or to enter into nuptial agreements etc.), as well as practical guidance for practitioners when dealing with capacity issues. The session will take place after the keynote address and before the President’s speech on the first day of the conference.

Maria Henty, Tony Atkins and James Collier will also be attending the conference from 16^th May.
