Jennifer Lee to speak at the Family Law Symposium in Malta: “Show me the Money – Family Law, Trusts and Recognition and Enforcement” on 5th April 2025 (hosted by the International Academy of Family Lawyers, Commonwealth Law Association and FLBA)

Pump Court is pleased to announce that Jennifer Lee will be participating in a panel discussion hosted by the International Academy of Family Lawyers (IAFL), Commonwealth Law Association, and the Family Law Bar Association of England and Wales, titled “Show me the Money – Family Law, Trusts, Recognition and Enforcement” on 5th April 2025.

With specialists from fifteen jurisdictions, this symposium will bring together family and civil practitioners to explore the knotty issues that exist for globally mobile clients with complicated financial lives, from jurisdictional disputes, recognition of agreements and court orders, through to asset recovery, enforcement, and the impact of sanctions. There will be a particular focus on jurisdictions where offshore trust structures are regularly employed.

Jennifer will speak alongside Keira Gore (Partner, Appleby (Isle of Man) LLC), Asha Johnson-Willins (Counsel, O’Neal Webster, BVI), Kristina Rapa Manche (Partner, Camilleri Preziosi, Malta), and Lavanya Regunathan Fischer (RFKN Legal, India). The session will be moderated by Mark Woods, chair of the Access to Justice Committees of the Law Council of Australia and the International Bar Association. The welcome speech will be given by Rachael Kelsey, President of the IAFL.
