Siân Beaven embarks on Pegasus Trust scholarship to New Delhi

Siân is one of the outgoing Pegasus scholars this year and will be taking up a two-month placement with the Kapila and Nirmal Hingorani Foundation in New Delhi, India. The Trust, organised through the Inner Temple, partners with host organisations around the world to enable junior barristers to forge links with lawyers from other jurisdictions and learn about the application of the common law system in countries besides their own.

The Hingorani foundation works for the realisation of human rights and freedoms for a number of under-represented groups within Indian society including women, children and those of a lower socio-economic background.

Siân will depart for New Delhi in mid-October and return to practice in January 2025 following the completion of her placement.
