Pump Court Chambers welcomes Jayne Harrill as a new tenant

Pump Court Chambers is delighted to announce Jayne Harrill has joined as a tenant from Monday 2nd October. Jayne is Pump Court’s twenty-first new joiner this year, bringing the total number of members up to 121.

Jayne has vast experience in public law, including expertise in the most severe and complex cases, including non-accidental injury, sexual abuse and FII/perplexing presentations. She is frequently instructed as a leading junior. Many of her cases involve concurrent criminal proceedings. Jayne is commonly recommended to represent vulnerable clients, parents and children in care proceedings and has helped develop the Court of Protection team in her previous chambers. Jayne is a pupil supervisor.

Alongside her mainstream practice Jayne is a trustee and chairperson of the charity Kinship, which is dedicated to supporting kinship carers and campaigning to bring about effective change. She has experience in overseas projects addressing children’s rights in conflict zones  working with government officials, UN agencies and NGOs in Israel and the Occupied Palestinian Territory on the treatment of Palestinian children by the Israeli military (Children in Military Custody).
