Jennifer Swan returns following maternity leave

We are delighted to welcome back Jennifer Swan to our Family team following her recent maternity leave.

Jennifer was called to the Bar in 2009 and specialises in the law relating to children, undertaking both public and private law work, often involving international elements.

Jennie acts for local authorities, parents, children and intervenors. She has particular experience representing vulnerable clients, including victims of domestic abuse, people with current or previous drugs/alcohol misuse issues, poor mental health and learning difficulties. She has experience working with adults who require specialist advocates to help them participate fully in the Court process.

Ranked as a tier 1 leading junior in the latest edition of The Legal 500 directory within the area of children law, she is described as ‘a very user-friendly child law expert’ and ‘calm and collected with a great grasp of the details‘.
