Clergyman cleared of Sexual assault allegations

Justin Gau successfully represented a married clergyman accused of sexually assaulting a man in his congregation. The Tribunal dismissed all the charges, expressing concern about the credibility both of the accused clergyman’s training incumbent and the complainant. They formed the view that the clergyman was naïve and had been manipulated by a dishonest and obsessional man.
