Chambers is pleased to welcome
Ed Wylde to Pump Court following successful completion of his specialist criminal pupillage under the supervision of
Peter Asteris and
Thomas Wilkins.
Ed was called to the Bar 2018 and accepts instructions across the full spectrum of criminal law matters having appeared on behalf of the prosecution and defence in the Crown Court, Magistrates and Youth Courts.
Ed is also developing a practice in the
courts martial,
regulatory proceedings before the Nursing and Midwifery Council, and
road traffic law.
James Newton-Price QC, Head of the
Criminal &
Regulatory Team, said: “We are delighted Ed has accepted the offer of tenancy. It’s always a pleasure to welcome new tenants following pupillage, this is particularly true this year, given how impressive Ed has been in adjusting to the unexpected demands of the global pandemic. He excelled during our rigorous pupillage process and we are confident he will develop a thriving practice and will be an asset to chambers.”
