Alejandra secures unanimous acquittal in Rape Trial

News 26th August 2021
Alejandra Llorente Tascon

Alejandra represented the Defendant, who was charged with one count of rape, two counts of sexual assault and one count of voyeurism. The Crown’s case was that after a night out at Viper Rooms in Kingston, the Defendant went back to the complainant’s address, uninvited, and while the complainant slept, he touched the complainant’s clitoris, twice, and then proceeded to rape her and take photographs of her naked body, as she laid in bed asleep. It was alleged that the incidents took place in front of the complainant’s friend, who also slept in the room.

Following a four day trial, Alejandra secured unanimous Not Guilty verdicts on all counts.

Alejandra was instructed by Tang, Bentley and Jackson Solicitors. For further information on the case as reported in the press please click here.
