Guy Draper secures acquittal in death by dangerous driving trial

Guy Draper has successfully defended a man charged with causing death by dangerous driving after a 5-day trial at the Crown Court at Salisbury. His client was charged jointly with another driver, who was convicted by the jury, following eyewitness accounts that they were racing each other ‘wing mirror to wing mirror’ immediately prior to the codefendant’s vehicle allegedly being forced off the road and striking a pedestrian, who sadly died at the scene.
