Pump Court Chambers welcomes third-six pupils

Pump Court is delighted to announce the latest cohort of third six pupils to join chambers.

Jesse Cook is a third six pupil building a practice in all areas of Chambers’ work. In addition to this, he has a strong interest in sports law and football related matters in particular. Outside of work Jesse uses both his life and professional experience to mentor and advise professional football players, as well as young people from deprived and socially disadvantaged backgrounds.

Samara Brackley is a third six pupil building a practice in all areas of family law, having completed pupillage at a specialist family law set. Samara assists clients on a full range of family law matters and appears before all levels of the judiciary, from the Magistrates to the High Court. Whilst completing the GDL, Samara volunteered at the Citizens Advice Bureau and at the Women and Girls Network (a charity that assists women who have been victims of domestic and sexual abuse) which has shaped her approach to client and witness handling in cases where domestic violence is an issue. During the BPTC, Samara was a Student Director of the BPP Family Law Clinic.

Antonia Ford practised as a solicitor for 15 years and was Head of Fraud at Clyde & Co before transferring to the Bar. She is currently undertaking a third six pupillage within our Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence Team. Described as a ‘class act’ by the Legal 500 within the area of personal injury, she has extensive experience in dealing with claims where fraud concerns have been raised including low speed, induced and staged road traffic accidents and fraudulent employers/public liability claims. She has also contributed to a number of industry think tanks (including the Insurance Times Fraud Charter, the ABI, the Harmone Group and the Institute of Occupational Safety and Health (IOSH).
