Guest Speakers

District Judge Sparrow – Appointed as Deputy District Judge for the Western Circuit in 1993 whilst still a partner with Bernard Chill & Axtell in Southampton, he was appointed full time to South Eastern Circuit in 1996, before returning to the Western Circuit. Nominated Court of Protection Judge for Southampton in 2010, he is a Family Tutor Judge of some 12 years as well as a Court of Protection Tutor Judge.

Fiona Heald, Moore Blatch – Head of the firm’s Court of Protection team, she looks after the interests of vulnerable individuals. She works with elderly people and where appropriate their carers, helping them deal with the issues that arise in later life. She is a fellow of the Association of Taxation Technicians, a Dementia Friends Champion and the treasurer for the South Central branch for Solicitors for the Elderly.
