Lucy accepts instructions in all areas of Chambers’ work, and has a particular interest in crime.
She is very approachable, and committed to getting the best results for her clients.
Before starting pupillage, Lucy worked as a family law paralegal for six months, and as an employment law paralegal for a year.
Lucy speaks fluent French and conversational Russian.
Lucy has acted in the Crown Courts, Magistrates’ Courts, Youth Courts, and Courts Martial. She is dedicated to building a busy criminal practice, and frequently appears in courts on the Western and South Eastern Circuits.
Lucy represents clients at their first appearances, trials, sentencing hearings, mentions, bail applications, and PTPHs. Her recent instructions include committals for sentence and appeals against both conviction and sentence in the Crown Court; trials in the Magistrates’ Courts; and a sentencing hearing in the Courts Martial.
Lucy has also spent two weeks on a regulatory secondment with the Nursing & Midwifery Council, during which time she presented cases on behalf of the NMC.

In the County Court, Lucy has acted for claimants and defendants in small claims and fast track cases. She has represented clients in MOJ Stage 3 hearings, personal injury and credit hire matters, possession claims, and infant approvals.
Lucy has experience applying for non-molestation orders and prohibited steps orders. She has also been instructed in proceedings relating to a Child Arrangements Order.
