Children Public Law

Jennie specialises particularly in public law children matters, in which she regularly acts for Local Authorities, parents, guardians and intervenors. She has experience of serious and complex cases including those involving child death, non-accidental injury and sexual abuse. Jennie represents clients from first ICO or EPO to long contested final hearings and is happy to advise in conference at any stage.

Children Private Law

Jennie has very wide experience of contested private law disputes. She represents clients in cases involving allegations of serious harm, intractable contact disputes, internal relocation and leave to remove applications. Jennie has acted for same-sex parents in cases under the HFEA.

Child Abduction

Jennie regularly represents both left behind and abducting parents in Wardship cases involving both Hague and non-Hague countries.  She accepts short notice emergency instructions and is happy to advise on the telephone and in conference.

Family Finance

Jennie is developing a comprehensive family finance practice and has experience in matrimonial finance and related enforcement proceedings, applications under the Trusts of Land and Appointment of Trustees Act 1996 and schedule 1 Children Act 1989.
